"A friend played one of the songs at a party my sophomore year in Columbus and I pretended it was weird because everyone else did. I went home and found the album at 1am and listened through headphones under my blanket. There's a moment near the end of the title track where everything drops away except the voice and some low drone and my whole chest went tight."
